Popular Wilmington restaurant making a comeback, opening in new site

Moro, a once-popular Trolley Square-area Mediterranean restaurant that closed a decade ago, will reopen soon at a new site off Wilmington’s Pennsylvania Avenue.

Michael DiBianca, the chef/owner who operated the critically acclaimed restaurant at 1307 N. Scott St. from 2002 to 2016, told Delaware Online/The News Journal he is leasing the former Brandywine Brasserie restaurant on the bottom floor of the 2000 Pennsylvania Avenue apartment building.

DiBianca said he has applied for a liquor license and plans to open Moro Bistro, hopefully by early May…
