WILMINGTON — Buccini Pollin Group (BPG) is moving forward with plans to redevelop the Bracebridge office complex in downtown Wilmington into a mixed-use property that would add residential units while retaining office and retail space.
The proposal would convert upper floors of the Bracebridge buildings into apartments, while lower levels would continue to serve office tenants and street-level retail uses. The goal is to create a more active, mixed-use environment that brings additional residents into the city’s core while preserving room for businesses.
The Bracebridge complex, located along North King Street and North French Street, includes several buildings totaling more than 500,000 square feet in Wilmington’s central business district. The site has long been a prominent part of the downtown office market…
