A 16-year-old Newark male has been arrested in connection with a March 10 shooting that injured a 15-year-old girl in Wilmington, police said.
Wilmington Police said officers responded at about 5:40 p.m. on March 10 to the 800 block of West 6th Street for a reported shooting. When officers arrived, they found a 15-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
The investigation was assigned to Detective Avery Stewart of the Criminal Investigations Division. According to police, the investigation led detectives to identify a 16-year-old male as the suspect, and warrants were obtained for his arrest…
