McKean Innovation Center indefinitely ‘postponed’ by Red Clay School Board

A two-year attempt to reimagine the Red Clay School District hit the brakes Wednesday, as their school board voted to delay any restructuring of McKean High School the 2027-28 school year.

Red Clay had been going forward with a plan to turn McKean, one of the district’s three traditional public high schools, into an innovation center, taking advantage of career-based programs at the school to create a modified vo-tech school within the district.
