A Salem County man is likely facing several years in prison on gun charges following an alleged 100 MPH drunk drive on the Atlantic City Expressway.
On Tuesday, 36-year-old Akeem Statin of Penns Grove pleaded guilty to second-degree unlawful possession of a handgun and second-degree certain persons not to possess a firearm.
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said on October 27th, 2023, New Jersey state troopers received reports of an erratic driver on the Atlantic City Expressway who was going over 100 MPH and swerving into traffic.
