Night Crash, Retail Theft, and Arrests Unfold Across Chester County

AVONDALE, PA — Pennsylvania State Police in Avondale reported multiple incidents across Chester County in recent days, including crashes, thefts, and arrests, according to official reports.

According to police, on Monday, April 21 at approximately 11:31 p.m., a crash occurred on Jennersville Road north of Phillips Mill Road in Londonderry Township. Investigators said a Kia Sorento traveling at a high rate of speed allegedly failed to negotiate a left curve, left the roadway, struck a utility wire, and overturned multiple times before coming to rest in a grassy field. Police reported the 49-year-old driver fled the scene but was later located at Paoli Hospital with unknown injuries.

Earlier that day at approximately 5:00 p.m., troopers responded to West Sherry Lane in London Grove Township for a report of a natural death, where police said a subject was found deceased. The investigation remains ongoing…
