Wilmington police are investigating a series of commercial burglaries and attempted break-ins across the city’s west side.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, officers responded to 11 separate business locations between April 5 and April 27 for reported burglaries or attempted burglaries. All of the incidents occurred in neighborhoods west of Interstate 95.
Police said multiple locations were targeted more than once, including businesses in the 1000 block of West 4th Street, where incidents spanned several hours, and the 1400 block of Lancaster Avenue, where two break-ins were reported days apart.
