Growth potential of “3 Rivers Corridor” explored at Wilmington conference

A multi-faceted effort to bring investment into what’s known as the Three Rivers Corridor continues to move from identifying potential and turn it into reality.

More than 400 people involved, with business, education, policy and the community gathered at The Queen in Wilmington for the Opportunity LIVES Here summit. The latest focus is Artificial Intelligence, Fintech and Blockchain.

State Senator Darius Brown, D-New Castle, formed Opportunity LIVES Here three years ago to attempt to drive investment into the 2nd District which includes the Delaware, Brandywine and Christina. The stretch roughly between New Castle and Edgemoor also includes extensive transportation infrastructure: the Port of Wilmington, Wilmington Airport, I-295 and I-495.

“We don’t just want them to be incorporated here. We want them to deepen their routes as part of the fabric of our community and our business interactions and transactions,” Brown said.

During the event, Sand Technologies Founder and CEO Fred Swaniker announced that he would be reincorporating the Physical AI infrastructure company to Delaware…
