‘Death and destruction’: NJ wineries brace for losses after spring freeze

New Jersey wine growers say they are facing major crop losses after a catastrophic mid-April freeze damaged vineyards across the state.

Vineyard owners say dramatic temperature swings last month caused vines to begin growing early before freezing temperatures hit and destroyed much of the developing crop.
