Overnight burglaries target businesses in Woodbury Heights, NJ

A burglary at a local steak shop and a similar break-in at a nearby convenience store are under investigation after incidents were reported overnight into Sunday morning, according to business owners and employees.

The owner of Whit or Whitout Steak Shop said the burglary occurred during the overnight hours. Dakota Flem said the suspect stole a few hundred dollars in cash, but the cost of repairs is expected to be significantly higher.

Just hours later, a Heritage’s Dairy Store on Glassboro Road in Woodbury Heights was also targeted in a similar manner. Store manager Kayla Graff said the suspect was less successful in that incident…
