CRAWFORD COUNTY, Ark. — A Delaware man has pleaded not guilty in Crawford County Circuit Court to charges of rape, sexual assault, sexual indecency with a child, and sexually grooming a child.
According to a probable cause affidavit, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office received a report from the Arkansas State Police Crimes Against Children Division on Feb. 16. The report contained allegations by a minor against William Arthur Ritter of Wilmington, Delaware.
During an interview with the Hamilton Center in Fort Smith, the child alleged that when she was between the ages of 6 and 10 years old, Ritter made her and another child “dance naked for his enjoyment” on several occasions.
