NORTH CAROLINA (WECT) – Brunswick County deputies helped lead a multi-agency investigation into a commercial vehicle theft ring operating across the Carolinas, resulting in multiple arrests.
According to the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), suspects are believed to have stolen vehicles, changed identification numbers and license plates and then rented the vehicles out.
