WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Ward Larsen has spent most of his adult life in cockpits — first as a U.S. Air Force fighter pilot, then as a Southwest Airlines captain — and he is now relying on that aviation experience in his newest mission, of writing inside the Tom Clancy universe.
Larsen is the New York Times bestselling author of eighteen novels, and his latest release, Rules of Engagement is his first thriller set in the Tom Clancy/Jack Ryan world.
