WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A 22-year-old woman who recently moved to Wilmington remains hospitalized with severe injuries after what her family describes as a violent home invasion attack last week.
According to family members, Savannah Johnson, who moved to Wilmington from Michigan less than three weeks before the attack, suffered multiple fractures and other serious injuries.
Court records show Johnson sustained fractures to her C5 and C6 vertebrae in her neck, as well as compression fractures to the T2 through T6 vertebrae in her upper back.
