WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The Wilmington Police Department has identified the 17-year-old arrested in a shooting at an apartment complex last month.
According to warrants, Kamirion Shipley, now 18, was arrested for shooting a .45 caliber handgun into a Nissan Altima with three people inside. Shipley is also charged with shooting at a Dodge Dart with two adults and four minors inside.
According to WPD, officers responded to the Starway Village on Conley Drive shortly after 3:30 p.m. on May 5 following reports of gunfire.
Police said two people reportedly exchanged gunfire in the parking lot and then left before the arrival of officers. No one was hurt, according to authorities…
