Wilmington real estate office transformed into 1776 time capsule for Fourth of July

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A brother and sister have transformed their family real estate office into a colonial-era law office to mark the 250th anniversary of American independence.

Frank Efird and Ellis Furst, of SVN Commercial Real Estate, converted the space into a replica of the law office of William Hooper, a Wilmington native and signer of the Declaration of Independence.

“We decided to transform our office into a 1776 law office for William Hooper, who was from Wilmington and one of the original signers of the Declaration of Independence,” Furst said…
