First Alert Forecast: heat index to continue at stressful to dangerous levels

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Stay hydrated, rested, and neighborly! First Alert Weather Days continue through Saturday for more stressful to dangerous heat, with daily feels likes in the 102 to 112 and locally 116 range. Heavy storm chances are low Wednesday through Friday, and medium to high as the heat dome starts to erode Saturday. Less intense heat still appears likely to return for Sunday.
