WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Scammers are calling residents and falsely claiming to represent the New Hanover County Senior Resource Center, the agency warned Wednesday.
Center officials said callers are trying to sell products or insurance, or collect payment over the phone — services the senior center does not provide.
