WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Two Wilmington adults were detained after authorities recovered a stolen handgun, MDMA and other narcotics during a probation-related residential search, according to the Wilmington Police Department.
Police said the department’s Gun Crimes Unit assisted probation officers with a residential search at about 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 17, in the 300 block of Greendale Drive.
During the search, officers detained 33-year-old Lashonda Edens and took 28-year-old Quaneil Hasson Allen, both of Wilmington, into custody. Investigators said they located a large quantity of MDMA, additional narcotics, drug paraphernalia and a stolen pistol…
