WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The heat remains the main story across the Cape Fear, with Saturday, Monday and Tuesday now standing out as First Alert Weather Days for the best shot at 105+ heat index values.
Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday won’t be quite as extreme, but it will still feel plenty hot and humid. Take the heat seriously — stay hydrated, pace yourself outdoors, and check on those who may need a little extra help.
