WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Live music, culinary demonstrations and traditional food will take center stage this weekend as Cape Fear Lodge 3022 hosts its inaugural Italian Heritage Celebration.
The public event runs from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Beacon Education Center in Wilmington. Organizers expect around 150 attendees.
“This inaugural celebration is about more than sharing great Italian food,” said Rochelle Merino, Event Coordinator for Cape Fear Lodge 3022. “It is an opportunity to honor the people and traditions that shaped our families, introduce those traditions to others and begin building an event we hope the Wilmington community will look forward to each year.”…
