BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – A Wilmington man faces multiple felony charges after deputies investigating a stolen jet ski report recovered roughly $100,000 in stolen watercraft and trailers across two counties.
Samuel Thomas Mairs, 33, is charged with felony larceny, breaking or entering and larceny after breaking or entering.
The investigation began Sept. 18 when Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) deputies responded to a report of two stolen jet skis and a trailer.
