Major Hurricane Isaias Brings 2 to 6 Inches to Boone, Marion, and Hickory While Wilmington Sees 2 to 4 Inches Through Sunday

Some rain could become heavy at times Saturday evening and overnight. Hit-or-miss showers linger Sunday morning before clearing Sunday afternoon and evening, and the race in Charlotte continues trending drier.

Localized higher amounts could lead to isolated flash flooding along the Blue Ridge Escarpment. Flood-prone areas in the foothills will be watched closely if heavier rain bands set up.

Central and Northern NC Expect a Half Inch to 2 Inches
