Sheriff’s office: Riegelwood man in custody after argument leads to stabbing

COLUMBUS COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – A Riegelwood man is in custody after an argument led to a stabbing Saturday, Jan. 27, according to the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office. Per a CCSO report, 62-year-old Michael Earl Moore was involved in a verbal argument with another person just after 6 p.m. when Moore struck the victim with a broom and then used a knife to stab them in the arm and back.
