You know, February in Wilmington is an interesting time. The beaches and the AirBnBs are mostly empty, but the entertainment calendar is increasingly full, which is a great thing for those of us who are locals and looking to get out and about.

It’s a very busy weekend in the Wilmington area .

You’ve got three play comedies to choose from (“Steel Magnolias” and “Dearly Departed” at Thalian Hall, Neil Simon’s “Rumors” at UNCW), as well as a selection of touring concert acts bringing a variety of styles to big rooms and small.
