GOP Vice Presidential nominee Vance makes campaign stop in North Carolina

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) – Republican Vice Presidential candidate and Ohio Senator,  J.D. Vance, made a stop in Greenville Saturday afternoon.

Campaign officials said Vance was in town for an “off the record” event.  Vance landed at Pitt-Greenville Airport around 2:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

The GOP VP nominee then travelled into Greenville, stopping at Sup Dogs to chat with ECU fans ahead of the game with Appalachian State. Vance then headed to Dowdy-Ficklen stadium to watch the game.

As WNCT reported previously, Vance was in Greenville last week for a fundraiser at a private residence.

Officials with the Trump-Vance campaign said the Vance will speak at Union Hall in Raleigh next Wednesday. Former President Donald Trump will hold a rally at Aero Center Wilmington next Saturday.
