The Veggie Wagon, Carolina Beach
This market and gathering space in Carolina Beach has a new beer garden that opened earlier this year at 608 S. Lake Park Blvd. The space overlooks Carolina Lake, has picnic tables and is partially tented for daytime fun and well-lit at night. Enjoy it with a variety of bites and beverages from beer to hot chocolate served nearby.
Flytrap Brewing, Wilmington
While the owners have bigger plans for growth and expansion in mind, they have been working to refresh and rejuvenate their outdoor space in preparation for their 10th anniversary in October. Over the years, the beer garden has become a mini oasis in the former parking lot at 319 Walnut St.
