When Bunny and I first returned to North Carolina, it was to design and build the bar and then leave it in the capable hands of an experienced bar operator. However, as many know, plans often evolve, and what was meant to be a temporary stay turned into a full-time commitment over the past few years. Our passion for The Sorrow Drowner and its guests has been unwavering, but after careful consideration during a period of reassessment as we enjoy the off season, we have decided that the time has come to honor our original intention to return to California…
