WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A Charlotte Man was sentenced on Tuesday for bringing large amounts of cocaine into Wilmington from 2017 to 2022.
FBI agents and the Wilmington Police Department (WPD) started an investigation into 47-year-old Kinte Fisher, according to court documents. Fisher moved narcotics to a stash house in Wilmington from Charlotte and would sell cocaine from there, using the cover of visiting family to deliver the drugs.
Fisher reportedly supervised several people involved in drug trafficking, including his girlfriend, and mailed packages with narcotics inside using the United States Postal Service. He distributed at least 62 kilograms (136.69 pounds) of cocaine for over five years…
