WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – As high pressure drifts offshore a return flow will boost highs in Wilmington from the upper 60s to near 70 today to the upper 70s for Friday and the weekend. Inland locations should make a run at 80 degree readings while lower and middle 70s dominate along the coast. Skies will range from mainly sunny today to partly cloudy on Saturday. After that, be alert for welcome rain chances: 30% for Sunday showers, 40% for a Monday storm – especially very late – and 10% for a residual shower Tuesday.
