WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Expect fair skies, rogue showers, and warming temperatures with highs in the seasonable 70s this Wednesday afternoon, lows in the mild 60s Wednesday night and highs near and north of a balmy 80 Thursday. As toasty high pressure anchors for Azalea Festival weekend, established records in the middle and upper 80s will be challenged. Summery feels for sure! But they won’t last… Be alert for multiple changes next week, including a spike in rain chances along a cold front Monday and very chilly midweek nights in the 30s and 40s.
