WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Avelo Airlines has officially opened its new base of operations at the Wilmington International Airport (ILM).
ILM will be Avelo’s eighth base where they will eventually position two aircraft, three new flight destinations and create up to 50 new jobs.
The airline also began the three following nonstop routes this week:
- Boston / Manchester, N.H. (MHT): Begins Thursday, April 3, with twice-weekly service on Thursdays and Sundays.
- Nashville, Tenn. (BNA): Begins Thursday, April 3, with twice-weekly service on Thursdays and Sundays.
- Rochester, N.Y. (ROC): Begins Friday, April 4, with twice-weekly service on Fridays and Mondays.
