A Wilmington-shot TV series is heading to Netflix this summer.
“The Waterfront,” which filmed in Wilmington and Southport in 2024, will premiere on June 19, according to a story on Tudum, an official Netflix companion site.
“The Waterfront,” from writer and executive producer Kevin Williamson (“Dawson’s Creek,” the “Scream” movies), is described on IMDb as being about the “damaged” and dysfunctional Buckley family as “their storied North Carolina fishing empire decays (and they) grapple to revive their imperiled maritime heritage.”…
