WILMINGTON, North Carolina – UNCW’s Madison Biddle, Morgan Britt and Cassidy Relay combined for six hits but Stony Brook edged the Seahawks 2-1 in the second game of the Coastal Athletic Association softball series at Boseman Field on Saturday evening.
The Seawolves won their 13th straight league game and improved to 21-19 and 15-5 in the CAA. UNCW fell to 9-11 in the circuit and 23-20 overall.
