WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A hit-and-run victim, still recovering after almost losing her life, is now pushing for change.
The driver, Cindy Early, is now serving three months in prison. Early was originally charged with driving while impaired, but a plea deal led to her conviction of felony hit-and-run and felony serious injury by motor vehicle.
