After a fairly active week of weather across eastern North Carolina, the pattern could continue to be active on Saturday.
We’ll need to crank up the air conditioning as hot weather expands into the area. Highs in many inland areas will reach the 90s by Friday and Saturday. The sea breeze should keep the beaches in the 80s.
There’s a small chance for an isolated shower or storm over the weekend but also a slight risk for severe weather. If storms show up (and that’s a big “if”) we could see some produce large hail and damaging winds…
