Pender County woman convicted of 2020 murder loses appeal

WALLACE, N.C. (WECT) – The North Carolina Appeals Court ruled against the appeal of a 2023 conviction of Marshje Treannah Swinson.

Swinson was found guilty of second-degree murder in the shooting of Lonnel Henderson. She was also found guilty of assault after injuring Lonnel’s sister, Shardonnay Langley.

Henderson was killed at his home on at the Wells Mobile Home Park on U.S. 421 in Oct. of 2020…
