WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Your First Alert Forecast features a welcome change after the hottest day of 2025 in Wilmington and a round of powerful storms Wednesday afternoon and evening. For the rest of tonight look for diminishing showers and lows dipping into the lower 70s. For the rest of June look for more seasonable highs in the lower 90s and much lower shower and storm chances in the 10-20% range. Overnight lows will turn muggier moving forward as they will generally be in the middle and upper 70s.
New tropical storm formation is not likely in the Atlantic Basin for the rest of this week.
