BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — A burn ban has been issued for the unincorporated areas within Brunswick County that starts at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
The burn ban does not apply to any open burning permits issued by the North Carolina Forest Service or permitted fireworks displays scheduled for the week of July 4.
Current and future weather forecast models indicate conditions that are not favorable to open burning.
