PHOTOS: Fireworks cause house fire in Wrightsville Beach during holiday weekend

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, N.C. (WECT) – Crews responded to a house fire caused by fireworks in Wrightsville Beach during the Fourth of July weekend.

According to a spokesperson for Wrightsville Beach, a home at 405 S Lumina Ave caught fire at around 1:30 a.m. on July 5.

The fire started due to fireworks that were thrown away in a trash can under the house, stated the spokesperson.

No injuries were reported…
