HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A North Carolina man is facing multiple armed robbery charges after allegedly holding two people at gunpoint in April and stealing $500, Horry County police records show.
Lee Roosevelt Thompson, 40, of Wilmington, was charged with two counts of armed robbery and two counts of kidnapping. He was booked into the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on Tuesday, where he remains early Wednesday afternoon without bond.
An Horry County officer responded on April 18 to Enterprise Road in the Myrtle Beach area for a suspicious person, according to a police report.
