Power restored for nearly 2,000 customers without power in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Power has now been restored for 1,941 customersaround Shipyard Boulevard and The Pointe, according to Duke Energy Progress.

According to Duke Energy Progress, the outage was caused by equipment going offline.
