First Alert Forecast: both 100s and 60s have a place

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Ahead of a cold front, be alert for medium heavy storm chances and a shot at more 100+ heat index values through Friday. On the flip side of this front, your First Alert Forecast carries lower residual shower chances and a noticeable cooldown for the weekend with temperatures possibly dipping as low as the upper 60s on the mainland Saturday and Sunday nights.
