J&J Snacks shuts Holly Ridge plant, 48 workers lose jobs

HOLLY RIDGE, N.C. (WNCT) — The J&J Snacks Food manufacturing facility in Holly Ridge has closed without advance notice, resulting in the loss of approximately 48 jobs.

According to a press release by the Town of Holly Ridge, the closure was communicated to the Onslow County Small Business Center by J&J Snacks’ Human Resources, but no formal statement has been issued by the company.
