LELAND, NC (WWAY) — Leland Town Council has officially adopted the Integrated Mobility Plan (IMP), the Town’s first long-range, comprehensive transportation plan. The IMP outlines projects to guide the Town over the next 25 years, with a focus on expanding connectivity, enhancing open space, improving roadway infrastructure, and preserving natural areas.
Projects outlined in the IMP were selected through a comprehensive evaluation of existing initiatives in Town guiding documents and regional plans, combined with community input gathered from a focus group, two public open house events, an online survey, and an interactive comment map.
