BURGAW, NC (WWAY) — A Burgaw man will spend 26.5 to 39 years in prison for raping a woman in Hampstead in 2023.
On August 1, 2025, a Pender County jury convicted Tony Robinson, 66, of Burgaw of first degree forcible rape, first degree kidnapping, discharging a weapon within an enclosure to incite fear, possession of firearm by felon, felony breaking and entering, and assault on a female.
