WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Robert Roth is very passionate about Science. That’s the subject he teaches at Charles P. Murray Middle School. He’s just as zealous about providing his students the best learning environment. He wants to build and outdoor science lab. He’s asking for donations through DonorsChoose, an online charity that helps teachers get funding for school projects.
“What makes my students truly special is their natural curiosity and their deep connection to the world around them,” Mr. Roth said on his DonorsChoose page. They thrive when learning is hands-on, sensory-rich, and rooted in real-life experiences. Many come alive when given the chance to explore outside the classroom, where science feels less like a subject and more like a discovery.”
