Possible remains of two fetuses found inside Wilmington home

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – A narcotics investigation led investigators to the remains of two possible fetuses, according to the Wilmington Police Department (WPD).

WPD reports that on Aug. 22, a search warrant was carried out at a home at 409 Wesley Avenue for narcotics violations, during which authorities discovered what seemed to be fetal remains inside a container.

“The remains were found in a building out back,” A spokesperson for the department told WECT, “Those remains are being examined at the Greenville Medical Examiner’s office.”…
