WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Your First Alert Weather Team continues to monitor two low pressure systems.
One Carolina coastal system will bring a variety of rain chances Monday night and Tuesday: low to medium here in the Cape Fear Region and even higher up toward New Bern, Goldsboro and Raleigh. Temperatures will struggle to rise above the 60s and 70s in these early weekdays; deeper 80s will return to your First Alert Forecast on days with even lower rain odds, like Thursday and Friday.
Low pressure is sharpening on the Outer Banks and the Cape Fear Region will a little too close to it to not be cool and breezy this Monday. The second low pressure system is a tropical disturbance that has a solid chance to develop into a tropical storm as it tracks north of the Caribbean islands through this coming weekend.
