Pender County seeks public input for county planning and consolidation

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Beginning Sept. 30, Pender County will hold five town hall meetings to gauge public opinion on the county’s Strategic Plan 2030 and the ongoing Emergency Services merger.

During the meetings, residents of Pender County may give feedback and discuss the drafted mission statement, core values, and preliminary strategic goals outlined, according to a press release from the county.

According to the county’s website, the Strategic Plan 2030, which began in January, is an ‘effort to produce decisions and actions that shape and guide’ the county in the future…
